Hydroponics: The process of growing plants in sand, gravel, or liquid, with added nutrients but without soil. Aquaponics is the organic version of hydroponics where the added nutrients are replaced with organic fertilizer from aquatic life in a recirculating system. Aquaponics systems produce two crops at the same time (fresh produce and fish).

 

AgroPonics was founded simply to improve the overall health of our community. AgroPonics produce highly effective, easy to use hydroponic food production systems coupled with the experience and expertise to ensure the overall success of our customers. The intension is to grow our local economy by establishing a manufacturing and supply company in Phenix City, Alabama. AgroPonics will create eight to ten jobs in the first year and additional positions as the business grows.
